UPCOMING EVENTS/EXHIBITIONS:

Below is a list of upcoming events/exhibitions where I will be showing my original designs. You can find me in the Village of the Arts at my own gallery, Lee Shore Gallery, weekly or by special appointment. Lee Shore Gallery, Village of the Arts, 2010 -2011 Events:

Artwalks are the first weekend of every month in the Village of the Arts. First Friday Nights, 6:00 - 9:30 pm and First Saturdays 11 am - 4 pm.

2010:

º July Artwalk - July 2nd 3rd.

º Southern Commerce Bank Art Show - July 22nd, 5 - 7pm. Southern Commerce Bank on the Corner of Martin Luther King Blvd and 12th Street West (the gateway to the Village of the Arts) will be hosting the Village Galleries in their first Village Art Show.

º August Artwalk - August 6th and 7th.

º September Artwalk - September 3rd and 4th.

º October Artwalk - October 1st and 2nd.

º Miniature Golf Classic - October 16th. The Village of the Arts will showcase their first annual miniature golf classic. Come play 9 holes of golf, win door prizes and have a fun family time in the Village.

º November Artwalk - November 5th and 6th.

º Festival of the Skeletons - November 5th. This will be the Village of the Arts 3rd annual Festival of the Skeletons. There will be an alter contest open for entries from the community in honor of Dia de los Muetros, live music and much more.

º Manatee Glens Art Show - November 16th. This is the 3rd annual Manatee Glens Art Show held in the Village of the Arts. Art work from Manatee Glens art in recovery program will be showcased throughout the Village of the Arts for the month, opening today.

º December Artwalk/An Old Fashioned Village Christmas - December 3rd and 4th.

2011:

º January Artwalk - January 7th and 8th

º February Artwalk - February 2nd and 3rd

º Cupid, Cosmos and Cinema - February 11th

º Village Studio Tour - February 19th. Annually the Village of the Arts Artists open their studios and allow customers to see them create their wares.

º March Artwalk - March 4th and 5th.

º Arts Alive - March 19th. A hands on, interactive family arts event.

º April Artwalk - April 1st and 2nd

º Art and Garden Walk - April 2nd. Annually the Village of the Arts opens its gardens to the public with a display of art in each garden.

º Village Fashion Show and Brunch - April 9th. Annually the Village of the Arts holds a fashion show and brunch

º May Artwalk - May 6th and 7th

º June Artwalk - June 3rd and 4th

I submitted 8 pieces of jewelry, the models chose pieces to compliment their outfits from a local boutique, and wore my jewelry in the fashion show. It was a very fun afternoon.

Lots of fun!!! A great time was had by all. I made lots of handmade red and purple beads of every description. The ladies picked their beads and strung their own necklaces and bracelets. I did a glass bead making demonstration, everyone was fascinated to see how the beads are made.

If you would like to do a private show for your Red Hat Lady Club or any other Club or Ladies group, call or e-mail me. The Hostess receives a 15% discount on purchases. Those who cannot attend may also purchase from my website for two weeks previous to the show and the Hostess will receive credit for those sales.
